LARABARs Review and Giveaway
This contest is closed. Congratulations Sheena!
This post brought to you by LÄRABAR. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I was asked if I’d like to share a review of LÄRABAR my answer was simple: YES. I already eat and love LÄRABARs and have for many years. They’re one of my favorite go-to convenience snacks when I need something to eat on-the-go.
At $1-$2 per bar, they aren’t a snack that I eat daily, because that would be an expensive habit, but I do keep a box on hand for tossing in my purse when I know I’ll be out for a few hours. I’d rather eat an all-natural snack than give in to spending money on fast food or some other over-priced, processed snack that I don’t like anyway.
I love that the bars are all-natural and most contain no added sugar. I can read all of the ingredients on the short ingredient list and purchase them in any normal grocery store.
Coconut Cream Pie has been a long time favorite flavor of mine, because it is so moist and I love coconut. I recently sampled Carrot Cake (which I’d never had before) and those were pretty tasty as well. With over a dozen flavors, I can always find something that I like. For those with food allergies, sensitivities or other restrictions most of you are in luck! LÄRABARs are Gluten Free, Dairy Free*, Soy Free*, Non-GMO, Vegan*, Kosher.
Being the mom of a child with a severe peanut allergy it is a bit disappointing that we’re left out of the group, though I’m also getting used to this by now – it’s incredibly hard to find any granola or snack bar that doesn’t contain peanuts, peanut butter, or is processed on shared machinery these days.
The rest of the family is still able to enjoy most of the flavors (I won’t purchase flavors that contain peanuts or peanut butter, but being processed in the facility is safe for consumption by the rest of the family).

*Does not include 3 Chocolate Chip flavors. Chocolate Chip flavors are made with a simple, 4-ingredient chocolate chip that consists of Fair Trade Certified chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter and vanilla. While no dairy is used to make the chocolate chips, they are made on a line which also produces chocolate chips with dairy. Thus, LÄRABAR will not 100% claim them as being Dairy Free, Soy Free or Vegan.

My favorite is the key lime but I can’t find it anymore. I tried recreating them and did pretty good – but they own fruit and nut bars. Love ’em!

Hard decision…either of the coconut varieties would for sure be good, but my curiosity wins so carrot cake is the winner!
