Breville Smart Oven Giveaway
I can’t wait to tell you about my new toaster oven – The Compact Smart Oven, by Breville. But first, let me convince you why you need a toaster oven versus a standard toaster.
A toaster oven is an essential kitchen appliance for me. Unlike traditional toasters, the toaster oven is multi-functional. If you were ever looking for a counter-top appliance that was is a true multi-tasker, this is it. I’ve toasted toast (and bagels, english muffins, whole wheat flax waffles, and more), roasted vegetables (like this roasted cauliflower), kept side dishes warm for Thanksgiving feasts, baked a small batch of cookies and probably much more.
For us it is a lifesaver in the summer months when you need to use the oven but don’t feel like making the kitchen any hotter than it already is (our kitchen gets full afternoon sun). I don’t dread baking individual pizzas or cooking up sweet potato fries during hot months because the toaster oven doesn’t heat up the kitchen at all.
I am loving the Compact Smart Oven. It takes up less space than my old toaster (different brand) but the inside space is only a fraction smaller than the old model. Plus, this one is actually attractive on the counter with its sleek design.
A Few Highlights of the Breville Compact Smart Oven
- Defrost button for frozen foods.
- Pull out crumb tray for easy cleaning.
- 1800 watts – just like it’s larger counterpart
- Smaller size means more counter space but without sacrificing features.
- Wide variety of presents for ease of use: toast, bagel, bake, roast, broil, pizza, cookies, and reheat.
- The bottom line: Toaster ovens are for more than just toast.

I’d definitely opt for a juicer of some sort. I looked through, and it would be a tough decision which one to pick. I also like the Hemisphere Blender they have on their front page. How cool!
